Scott's Toy Trailer

Four kids, three bikes and all the riding and camping gear to go with, just doesn't fit in a typical car/trailer/tent combination. Scott and his wife realised they needed more than the average set up to cater for their needs.

Their enclosed bike trailer just about has it all - even the kitchen sink. Some of the accessories include:

  • Powdercoated hammertone steel subframe, alu-panel cladding and aluminium propeller-plate trims
  • Lift up roof and built in ramp
  • Personal access door
  • Slide-out kitchen with sink and tap
  • 80L stainless steel water tank
  • Front storage boot
  • Wheel wells and tie downs for 3 bikes
  • 2 x fold down bunk beds

Now Scott and his wife have all the necessities, secure and watertight, and at the ready anytime they want to head out for a bit of fun.

An exercise in creativity and a few sheets of tread plate. This custom 3-bike trailer stands out in the crowd at any bike park or social ride.

The brain child of our company director and avid dirt bike rider, Ian Tritton, this bike trailer just had to have it all;

  • Tapered, long drawbar
  • Centre-mount jockey wheel
  • 3mm steel tread-plate deck
  • Recesses for front wheels
  • Fold down light panel at rear with lock-in/lock-out aluminium ramp on ball bearings
  • Stainless steel eye bolts
  • Custom aluminium toolbox fitted with led lights to light up the box, deck and surrounds
  • Classy 'Precious Oxide Pearl' powdercoat finish

With a fully optioned TSM Ute Canopy, Pat and his GU Patrol are ready to go just about anywhere.

So often restricted with a caravan in tow, Pat wanted to set up a 'home away from home' on the back of his GU Patrol so he could leave the caravan and head bush without missing out on the necessary luxuries. Some of the accessories include:

  • Colour matched two-pac paint
  • Dual fridge slides
  • Aluminium tread plate floor
  • Partition and shelf (to create an enclosure for fridges)
  • Interior lights
  • Dual rear wheel carriers
  • Ladder
  • Jacking Legs (not that he ever planned to take it off)

After leaving our workshop, Pat had the canopy insulated and lined, wired up with every electronic gadget conceivable, and was even considering fitting an air-condtioning unit ... just to make it a little more comfortable.
